Welcome Otto as first moderator!

We have decided to do a smaller sized wargame with much more immersion. We will have one operation with each player leading a few regiments. I will make a new thread once finished.

You could add like a hierarchy of ranks and what they command, for example:

Army - General
Corps -  Lieutenant General
Division - Major General
Brigade - Brigadier General
Regiment - Colonel

So for example, the Army would issue orders to Corps leaders, who would issue orders to Division leaders, all the way down to the Colonels.

Instead of divisions, you could also do small-scale scenarios with players commanding only one batallion/regiment or small brigades. One can think of scenarios like the invasion of Danzig, but also Netherlands, Denmark or Norway.

Barbarossa with 3 German Generals and 3 Soviet generals. (Northern Army, Middle, and Southern romanian and german forces)  Would be keewl. And later on a US Player and a Commonwealth play could d day, while italian player fights in north afrika and who cares about asia

Ted is busy, but I'm trying to make this work out. I keep thinking which war/invasion would be good and I keep leaning towards Operation Barbarossa. What would war/invasion would you guys want?
