Hampton Roads

Something wrong with this map. It crashing my game to windows. Every time while I loading it, my game crashing. Sometimes you can play it about 3 minutes and then it crashing game. What should I do?  ???

- In the M&B launcher, make sure under Configure->Video that 'Load textures on demand' is checked.
- If you are using a 32 bit system, you will need Large Address Aware. N&S needs more than 2 GB of ram to run.

'Load textures on demand' is ON. I'm using a 64bit system. I have 4 GB of ram.

Do you experience any problems with any other maps? This is the first I've heard of this problem.

Do you get an error or something like that when you crash? If so, what does it say?

It could well be that your PC/laptop can't handle it anymore, then I would suggest to go for DirectX 7 if you aren't using that already.

It could well be that your PC/laptop can't handle it anymore, then I would suggest to go for DirectX 7 if you aren't using that already.

Windows said "stopped work of the program" and after this "program M&B:Warband does not work. A problem caused the program to stop working...."

Alright. Tried verify integrity of the games cache in steam? Or try to run the game as administrator?

Otherwise it might be helpfull if you posted your RGL_log here in quotes. That readme file can be found in your Warband folder.

Btw, there is a modify button so you don't have to double post.

Then, have you tried playing in DirectX 7? I know it's not that fancy looking, but it prevents crashes then I assume it's always a better solution.

A friend of mine had this problem (crash uppon loading) with a training map which was installed on Hougoumont. When the map was changed to another name, the problem disappeared. Actually he had a problem with Hougoumont in general. He also told me that on the new N&S version he has this problem with 2 or 3 maps. I don't know what's the cause of this problem, but this information could help investigate.

changing to DX7 don't help...still crashing my game on Hampton and Howard maps

I don't know for Hampton but Howard is a small map with nothing special. You would hardly find a more performance-friendly map so I doubt that performance is the main cause of the crash. However you could improve performance by:
- Increasing your virtual memory:

- Using Game Booster:
http://www.razerzone.com/us-en/cortex/game-booster

Both methods can be very efficient on some computers.
