I'd be better of with heavy cav. They have a longer, more powerful sword and more health, which means they won't usually die when their horse dies, enabling them to kill their adversary.

Depends very much on circumstance.

Hussars will be good for 'poking' the enemy, harassing and nibbling away at the sides of a formation until it collapses.

Heavies, however, can take 1-2 shots before going down, and can (given a decent chance) ride down a line of infantry and annihilate it very quickly. It simply comes down to training, practice and experience on the riders and their opponents, no type is 'better' than another.

Sure, I was under the impression that when you charge infantry...you get closer to them though, hence why I mentioned the one shots ;)

Heavies can swing beyond the reach of hussar sabre. Heavy>Hussar but you got to stick to tactics to win a match.

Heavies stomp when as bots, someone had the brilliant idea of adding armour to horses...
