Wow have you been collecting them?

You are correct :) I have a couple of uniforms and a bunch of WW1 guns and bayonets and things, all fun stuff. Here is a video of me shooting my G98.

Thanks Landrik, the noise of war most have been unbelievable, we are just firing a bunch of bolt action rifles, imagine machine guns, cannons, people screaming, etc.

When WWI reenacting is in the thick of it, it's amazing. I have to ask, where are you from? I hear some UK/Aussie accents and I don't think I've ever been to a range that was cool with having a bayonet attached during firing.

As did I.

I'm guessing Australia but if its the UK, what is your group? I know a re-enactment group in the UK that attends Military Odyessy in Kent but I'm not sure if your part of them?

Quick question, who made the maps for the NaS WWI event? I would love to contact him to see if we could use those for a possible WWI NW event Jorge is thinking of possibly doing.
The 8th is not dead! Proud Colonel of the WWI and Blood and Iron/Verdun regiment 84th Infantrie d'regiment [both are recruiting. Add calicoyoda on Steam if you want to join either]

Thanks chaps glad you liked it, the correct answer is Australia. I'm not with a re-enactment group, just a personal hobby (we have only one group in WA about half a dozen guys that do Australian WW1). But I have done displays for the local historical society here.

Perth Region? or other because I've been trying to find re-enactment groups that include WW1 and anything pre 20th century but without luck. (I am with the Perth based SCA medieval group but alas no guns :'( )

Awesome. I'm in Stirling. Where is the range at and how did you manage to get guns?

Not to be a buzzkill, but can you guys take this to the re-enactment discussion board please? This is really off-topic.

Hey, the mod looks like an awesome idea. How far along are you with it because I’m looking for a mod to potentially fill our empty event on Tuesday.
