So, I take the French units will have their pre-1812 tailcoat instead of the short 1812 jacket they have now? And the British stovepipe shakos instead of Belgics?
Fantastic mod idea! I hope it does actually come out as you have made me excited, don't disappoint us Peninsular War freaks xD
I have a suggestion for the British roster.Instead of the 2nd Coldstream for the Foot Guards because they are always used, why not the 3rd Foot Guards (Scots Guards)? They fought in the Peninsular War and with quite some distinction too! Here:Talavera 1809Barrosa 1811Fuentes d'Onoro 1811Salamanca 1812San Sebastian 1813Adour 1814Bayonne 1814
This is a great idea and long overdue in my opinion. Looking at your list of units for the French, the Grenadiers and the Horse Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard certainly did enter Spain in 1809 but did not see a whole lot of action and were soon moved back out when news of the Austrian invasion of Bavaria reached Napoleon in Spain. I think a somewhat better representation of the French Army in Spain would include the Carabiniers of the Irish Legion in place of the Guard Grenadiers and an elite squadron of a Line Dragoon Regiment of medium cavalry would be more likely to be involved in fighting guerrillas than would the Horse Grenadiers of the Guard. Of course, I can always mod these units for myself after you release the mini-mod but I just thought I would give you an FYI.Looking forward to your mini-mod. Good Luck!!

For me it was hard to find any heavy French cavalry regiments that did enter Spain, so I actually just let the Horse Grenadiers of the Guards be as they were until I would find a solution. So I might put some Carabiniers in there...
Also, Chasseurs a Cheval are not Dragoons. They are more like light dragoons.
