I argue that a very slow reload for bayonet equipped musket makes for a better mod, for a couple reason
1) it forces infantry too go into melee if they equid bayonet.
2) makes FiC and RiC alot less common.
3) If its just as fast as with out noby would brother not using bayonet.

And just look at this dude, he would lose his hand if that musket had a bayonet on. :)

Well, like you showed with the video, he would probably have cut his hand if the bayonet was attached, meaning it would be slower for that as a fact.
It also adds a different level of staregi/tactis to the game and comanders will have to think more.

we've reduced the reloading (ties with aiming animation) by 20% for reloading with Bayos

I still think that is too little, 20% is barely anything, +40 would be much better and it the majority of the poll agrees with that.

Some feedback on that, coming from first hand experience.

Bayonets do not impact reloading speed. The video you linked provides a wrong picture, since the guy in that is trying to do a speedrun to see how fast he can reload. Regular reloading is not that fast, so bayonets do not affect speed as you did indeed say earlier.

If you still want to make bayonets a penalty, you should, for both realistic and gameplay purposes, have bayonets severely impact accuracy. A musket is generally a very well balanced gun. The bayonet shifts the weight from the middle of the barrel to the front, causing the musket to have the tendency to dip downwards.

There, I have done my duty of annoying Marks with historical details!
