How do new immigrants do better than people whose families have been in the US for 300 years? Well, to begin with I don't think that asians and indians are as routinely discriminated against as black people, and I don't think that white Americans tend to fear them nearly as much, though I could be wrong. And, well, there are success stories of people rising up out of communities run by gangs and escaping that kind of life.

The point about rap music is frankly ridiculous, I think. I listen to rock music and sometimes heavy metal, but I've never done drugs or gotten into a fight, never gotten in trouble with the law. Neither have any of my friends that love the same music I do. I'm not a fan of rap music, just musically it isn't my style. But, I don't see how it is any different from the blues or rock, venting frustration through lyrics. Maybe it has risen to prominence by being adopted by gang culture, but... frankly, so what?
There's a reasons Asians and Indians aren't looked at that way or feared. They have a better culture, that is my entire point.

And because YOU haven't, means others haven't? There's Christians that have never fed the poor in their entire lives, but that doesn't mean that Christianity isn't influencing them, whether they're real Christians or not.

edit: and yes I'm comparing music to a religion, because it's a huge part of people's lives. Most so-called Christians in the US aren't even really so

I'm not upset. I was typing out an argument as you read before, but I quickly realized there's no point in trying to reason with someone so deeply brainwashed in self-serving garbage ideology that I already deal with on a daily basis. What you're saying is nothing new to me. Trust me, I used to think similarly to you. You think your beliefs are unique and above those of the general public, but they're really not. They're actually quite common. Turns out most people are racist. In fact, I'd say white people are inherently racist because our system is crafted for by us and for us at a basic level. Being a reactionary is about the most run of the mill thing you can do. You're playing yourself. Seek valuable information, not this trash you're parroting from some neckbeards on an anonymous image board.
lol okay dude, I already got it, you know everything about me and my ideals, you're a wise oldie who has seen it all, and used to be like me when you were a youngster. I know, I know.

Slick, I agree that gang culture is a serious problem. But this problem of gangs rising to prominence is because of the perennial disadvantage and discrimination faced by black people in the US, particularly in urban centers. People turn to crime because the only other option is poverty, any opportunity for education or good employment to rise up out of their situation is very unlikely precisely because they and their parents were viewed as 'others' by people like you. When you look at black people as another culture within your own that is different, that has 'the rap music' and gang violence and drugs and all this bad stuff... that is the problem. People need to recognize that you are just like them, and they are just like you. The only difference is that they are raised in a shitty economic situation, and people (like you) think that it is their fault.
I can see that POV. But how does a poor Indian or Nigerian come here from his impoverished homeland and manage to do well (or at least better) in comparison to black Americans, despite not being white? Or does that not actually happen?

I dunno, my work environment is extremely diverse, white is a minority where I work yet the people we work with are nothing like the majority of blacks I see when I leave work, they're decent hard working people who think shit like Big Mamas House and Drake are garbage that ruin their communities.

You ever hear people say "music is life, music is my religion" etc. Well people constantly listening to these rappers are most definitely being heavily influenced by it, I just feel like if my community were in such a position I'd stop and think about that for a second rather than just dismissing it as racist.

Don't see how it could be nauseating to you when you're parroting all of their opinions virtually word for word. Did you just stumble upon their dogma somehow otherwise? I mean, it's no secret that /pol/ has infiltrated every other board on the site, but not everyone is as indoctrinated as you. You're talking like a full on 13 year old edgelord, which is also how everyone on /pol/ talks, so personally I don't see much reason to believe you.
lol you get so upset toward people who disagree with you

Once again, you and I both know damn well that /pol/ would say it's a genetic issue when I'm saying the complete opposite. But keep on name calling because you have no argument  :-X

Step one of arguing with a /pol/tard: Don't bother.
Judging by your other posts, you don't seem to follow your own advice much.

/pol/ would imply that it's a genetic problem, and blacks are genetically predisposed to be violent/criminals, I'm telling you it's the opposite, and you have nothing to say except for the gb/pol/ meme. I've probably spent 10 minutes on /pol/ my entire life, it's nauseating. I did browse /int/ for a while though.

I'm trying to tell you that it isn't a race issue but a culture issue, and all you can do is insult me. Whatever.

So it's because they're poor, and they're poor because they're discriminated against, despite getting scholarships and jobs based on their race via things like Affirmative Action which does work very well. Do you think it might have something to do with the fact that their culture is pretty damn poisonous? Listen to a few rap songs, they idolize things like money, crime, cars abundance of women and other material things and getting them by any means possible. "Get Rich or Die Tryin". To be a thug or gangster/cop killer/etc is glorified over and over.

But if you look back in the 40s/50s/60s etc, the Black Family was actually stronger than the white family. Meaning higher rates of marriages etc, they didn't commit nearly as much crime either, despite being poor. Why? Because their culture used to be great.

Look at poor countries in Africa and compare them to poor countries in Asia. There's major differences in violence and corruption etc. because they have a fucked up culture

My point is, it's not because they're poor, it's because they glorify a culture of crime. It's cool n gangsta to slang drugs and tote guns.

If people are truly being mistreated due to their skin tone, then why don't we treat Asians and Indians so badly when it comes to law enforcement? No one is afraid of them here, because to be honest they're generally productive people who own shops and get educated, despite coming here directly from often times impoverished countries, not even having the privilege of being born here like most blacks. They work hard as fuck, and ensure their children do too, and they succeed. In the US, Asians make more money than even white people, and also deal with the law a lot less than any other race. Not because they're genetically superior, but because they are culturally superior. Shouldn't they be disproportionately discriminated against for their skin color or the way they look? Nah, because they have a great culture of hard work and rising up, not playing a victim card and saying gibs me dat.

Blacks have a terribly shitty culture of being a complete asshole (wasn't always this way) but nobody wants to address it.

I wonder why blacks are treated unfairly by the police? You speak of statistics: https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/tables/table-43

Murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, blacks make up 49% of this despite being 12% of the population. Also 55% of robberies.

But these statistics are just racist I'm sure  ::)

It's not political correctness that makes black lives matter the right thing to support lmao.

the point is that black lives currently don't matter. And we all already know white lives matter. that's why all lives matter is dumb. Of course all lives should matter. But they currently don't.
Argh, I forgot man, white people never get shot by the police nor do police ever violently or unfairly abuse their authority toward other races. Only blacks do and we should focus on that because of the cherrypicked instances I saw on CNN and MSNBC. Simply Epic.
