Temuzu's Cartography NEW MAP!!!
« on: March 20, 2013, 09:39:50 pm »
Hey there. Figured I should make a thread on this forum as well. I used to have one over at Taleworlds, and I think I still do, but regardless, making a new one here.

"Who is this guy? I havent seen him before", you might say to yourself. And chances are you havent seen me. However, I'm almost certain you have seen and played my maps.

You see, I have been making maps for Musket Madness/Mount and Musket: Battalion/NW for, well, years I think. Ever since one of my first maps, Trenches, was met with great fan appreciation, I've been stuck with you lot through the life-span of the game. Other maps you might have seen that I have made are the other two Trenches, v2 and v3, Beach versions 1 and 2, La Haye Sainte for MM and M&M:B, Jungle Ruins, uh, well, you get the idea, I cant remember the others right now but rest assured they're there. Oh, Guerrilla, both version, made by me. More can be found in the following links:

If you want more of me blowing my own trumpet, just ask, I've got loads more to tell.

The defenders are tasked with defending their town from the attackers, who have a superior position for their artillery battery which is to pound the town and its defenders without mercy. Dig in men! The whole town is 90% destructible, so remember to change your position often.

The map is compatible with both Siege and Battle.

Lovely maps, Just wish they were used more as I've not seen many you have listed on taleworlds.

Protip of the day: If you're planning on making a map full of destructible buildings, dont. Shit takes a loooong time to make. I'll post some new pics sooner or later, I'm also working on a training map for a regiment which is nearly done so I'll probably put it up for a download soon as well.

Haha, yes, I tried one time to make some huge city but when I made the first 5 buildings I stopped. Just to much, and it takes to long. :P

I just counted, I have 16 destroyable buildings so far, 18-19 if you count it differently. 'tis a pain indeed.

That's why I need ages to map. Because I make everytime a bunch of destroyable buildings (with rooms! because 1-room-houses are boring :P ). :)

But screens needs the country, Temuzu!
I don't believe any progress until I can see it with my eyes! ;)

I'll probably finish the artillery position of the attacker before posting more pics. And yes, the buildings wont be just halls, many rooms and such. :-*

May I suggest you to pust the screen's with the IMG code :), It looks better on the page and it's easier for us.
Your maps are amazing though!

Cant do that with Dropbox, ImageShack wont let me upload multiple images, and TWFGI doesnt let images to be posted outside of TW.

Anyway, here are more screenshots, hopefully they work. I'm going to try using TWFGI to post them, they might not work because of that, so let me know if they dont and I'll upload them elsewhere.
