A new World War 2 shooter is in the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game, Battalion 1944, is a multiplayer shooter from UK studio Bulkhead Interactive that aims to capture the "core of classic multiplayer shooters" while using the "most advanced industry technology." The announcement trailer below contains some gameplay footage, but note that what you're seeing represents the game in its pre-alpha state.

They kinda do though. Pixels in the screen are graphics. Without graphics there is no game.

This should be interesting. I backed it on kickstarter although it will be ages yet before early access (a year at least is the current prediction). I have always been more into grand strategy total war game myself, but the team behind this look pretty dedicated. Shame they did not raise enough to get the British and the Russians, although I have heard that they are securing funding so they may be added as dlc later.
