Hekko if you duel like you describe..ill never duel you...because this guide is totally amazing and very helpful to everyone whos new to the game (and to some of the old 'Veterans' of the game [like  me] aswell)
Very good Job  ;D ;D

I used too back in MM (Sid had me quite figured out though), far to rusty these days, and the meta has changed so I am rather mediocre these days.

Wonderful guide, Hekko!
One thing to add though, is some info about the Dolphin. You've made a subtitle about it, but the part doesn't explain it.

Nice guide.  ;)

Whenever I meet someone on Groupfighting I first try to recognize him. I know most of the people who come on that server and their fighting styles and then simply adjust mine in order to counter theirs. Doesn't work vs players I do not know. There I simply force my own style or try to catagorise theirs. Pretty much like you said.

Great read and many thanks, TRR isn't the best at melee yet but its good the best are so gracious with their melee secrets  ;D

Best guide yet!

Have to agree. Don't think I have ever read a guide covering pretty much all aspects of the melee system. Personally I couldn't think of anything it would be lacking.

No doubt, Hekko has teh science. Now, I should notice that this is not complete. Of course, there's a lot of tricks that the common man doesn't know about. How about the epic sidestep to chamber, or the intentional stab to miss, just to chamber. Epic science. Bitches beware! Hide yo kids, hide yo wife.

Just to add that in sword vs bayo fight, if you're the guy with bayo, never ever strafe right since it allows sword user to double attack with left-to-right slash (fastest 1h slash, usually headhits when someone is strafing right). Avoiding that will make you last quite longer in fights :)
