These kinds of games Day Z, Rust, War Z are retarded. They hold no appeal after a life or two. If you make an open ended game with no objective, at least have some things to look forward to and have an end game appeal rater than, "Okay we have good guns, a vehicle and a base, lets kill every innocent player that wanders by and call it our endgame."

Well yeah thats true ..but it a sense its realistic. In a real life zombie apocalypse the people with the most skills and luck will become powerful.

I must say, this looks just as stupid as the other voxelcraft games. I don't know how zombie survival and voxelcraft is going to mix together, and judging by this trailer, it's going to suck. Stay far away from this one children, I wont even touch with a 20ft pole.

As far as zombie games go, this one actually looks fairly interesting. I'll definitely be watching it.

You can make a game realistic and still have some sort of goal.

Also: At some point you habe to stop with realism.
It's supposed to be a game, not real life (even if it's real life with zombies).

It's like Minecraft with guns!

I find these games pretty interesting. There doesn't need to be an objective, surviving for as long as possible with your friends can be plenty of fun.

I will though:

Another zombie game?
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.

I'm glad Frankie posted a video, now I know to absolutely stay away. Game looks terribly boring.

Actually, ow that I saw this, I think it does have potential. Not sure enough for me to buy it, but it does look like it may be fun, especially since there will be a multiplayer.

I'm not seeing the appeal. At least in games like Arma Day Z, the shooting is realistic and different from other shooter standards. This just looks like a Voxel based CoD Zombies that has a degree of open world. Not very interesting.

I've put probably 200 hours on DayZ, 150 on WarZ, and 30 on 7 Days to Die as of now. DayZ, WarZ, and (while not yet) 7 Days to Die, have something all in common: scrounging, teaming up, and pvping. If you have read anything about 7 Days to Die, they will be adding extra quests, a storyline, and more things to explore. So I'm going to totally be a hypocrite and say what is lacking of 7 Days to Die while it is in Alpha  ::). It's fun at first, but it slowly gets boring because as of now, my buddy has blocked off the entire suburban area with stake pits, walls, barbed wire, etc and nothing will spawn inside because he built it. It is boring after doing everything, but wait for the full release or at least Alpha.
