I was so disappointed with Civ 5 haha. I grew up on 3 and moved onto 4...I don't like the whole "pay for each faction," thing. I hate hexagonal tiles, and I like SoD (stack of doom!). I recommend 4 to anyone, 5 is more for people who haven't played the others before in my opinion.

Well, you should play Civ 5 with the correct mods, then its getting a lovely game! :)
I have 26 different mods activated :D

And for Civ 4: "From Caveman to Cosmos" is a must have mod! From stone age to future.. its so awesome!
