Title: IX Corps d'Armee (NA French Army) - 33e, 1erPLG, and 15e

     (https://i.imgur.com/HGGkzes.png)  The IX (9th) Corps d'Armee is a collective of mature, established and like minded regiments for the purpose of the establishment of a multi regiment community. We exercise cohesion and communication between the participating regiments during Linebattle events in stark contrast to the tactics of most regiments and other Armies. We operate together in support of one another to present a Unified tactical force on the field with Line Companies, Skirmishers, Artillery and Cavalry just as a Napoleonic French Brigade would. With this cohesion of combined arms we can be more successful than a less unified and tactical team.

 The Corps has no singular command. All decision making and power is held democratically between the Ruling members. As well as being a tactical formation in events the IX Corps is a mature gaming community. The Corps holds group training's as regiments weekly and multiple mixed training's on shooting and melee taught by experts from the various units. These are great tools to own member's skills as well as gives a seance of a singular community.

 Historically the IX Corps was typical of an Armee corps in the Grand Armeee. The organization of the corps d'armée and the doctrinal use of the bataillon carré were significant in making the campaigns of Napoleonic warfare quicker and more fluid than those of Frederick the Great's time. These changes allowed Napoleon to hold a decisive advantage over his opponents. The key to the corps system was that each corps would be able to hold its own until other corps (who were never more than a day or so's march away) would be able to reinforce it. In essence a corps was a minature Army with infantry,cavalry and artillery.

Just out of curiosity, if I made a dedicated artillery battery, would i be able to join you guys? I only like artillery and light infantry, but you guys already have light infantry... So, that's out of the question.

I never really thought of it before now, but do we want to have what events our Corps attends on this thread? I know that on the PLG thread, we have what specific events the PLG attends, but we don't have what events we attend as one unit, rather than our respective ones (to those in the corps asking what the hell I'm on about, the events i.e. weekends where we go as one line).
