This may sound silly, but in my recent study of the Rollcall(records of all who signed up) of regiment Huzaren Nr6 (Dutch, 1813-15) I found Cadet-Corporal Cornelis Michaël Breda, who died the day after Waterloo due to wounds received at the battle. He was only sixteen years old.
The realisation of the fact that this Cadet was my age when he died, in the regiment I will start re-enacting soon.... It's scary, and sad, and it makes you start thinking what his last days would have looked like.
