00th turns 4 years old this October.

But that's just on this planet.
.
All hail the overlord. His greatness shines throughout the universe. Or will soon.

I love you Thundersnow.
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

To be fair they were not a competitive Regiment and kept very much to themselves, I would compare them as the North Korea of the community but that award goes to Cenkris's 15th

In terms of 77y best I can think is that we started around late 2009 I believe. We used to be a bg2 clan called RR then renamed to 77th in 2009. We moved to mm near the start of it.

Fek knows if that counts but if it does we're quite possibly 5 years and 9 months old.

The name 77y was adopted around Dec 2010.

I think the 8th in NA is like 5 years old and still doing events
nah it's not true , they dont actually show any proof of that, I know that the 1stEPI is the oldest active NA regiment.
I don't know what proof you'd really want lmao.

I joined the 8th in August 2011, right after Jorge had taken over - can't completely confirm any history prior to that time BUT I do know what Jorge says lines up, at least a bit. TBH the real birth of the 8th was when I joined, no time prior to it matters, and any time after I leave won't matter ;). Which is why I refer to the period before me as "Pre-History" or "Pre-Illuminati".

The short version of the story goes that after a falling out with DaMonkey and the 16th Kampfgruppe, Jorge left with a handful of other 16th members. Jay (at the time known as "Triumph"), Tico (iirc), and a couple others. According to Jorge, he inherited the 8th from his uncle Leo (who btw is part of the official religion of the 8th King's Regiment of Foot; as our creator and lord). As the story goes, Leo had formed the 8th as a small group for him and some work buddies, and by the middle of summer 2011 they had become too busy to care about it, so Leo had told Jorge he could just have it. At this point, Jorge didn't do anything with it until he left the 16th. For a long time actually I thought the story was completely BS, and then I found out that Leo is definitely real when he commented on one of Jorge's posts on Facebook. Lends slightly more credence to the origin story I'd say; but again that's the pre-history period and doesn't matter because I wasn't there.

And quite frankly Leo and Occifer make some badass gods so eh.

How did a regiment called 00th last for 4 years? Wow, it has a name like one of those Regiments you see attend to one 77y event then you never see them ever again.
Long story short, it's not taking the regiment or this game too seriously. Regiments that don't survive are the ones with the most drama and take things way too seriously. The regiments which dial that back always tend to last longer.
