Do you guys have a map list? Or are they private maps. As an Australian i never play on EU/NA servers, but this one I genuinely loved and would like to see some of the maps on an Australian server.

Thanks.

To Build anything and to Fight anything! Join the 1st Australian Pioneers!

The 1st Australian Pioneer Battalion was formed in March 10, 1916 in Sinai, Eygpt made up of troops drawn from a wide range of Battalions, but received reinforcements from New South Wales.
That same month four other Pioneer Battalions were formed and later a Training Battalion was formed in England in August, a year later the 6th Pioneer Battalion was formed in England.
Each Pioneer Battalion was attached to a certain division, relative to their numbering. A Pioneer Battalion was organized exactly the same as an Infantry Battalion, with 4 Companies of 4 Platoons,
but all soldiers serving in the battalion had a variety of trades and skills including engineering. Pioneer Battalions frequently built bridges, roads, repaired trench defenses, built supply lines
and designed the intricate web of trenches and tunnels that made it almost impossible for the Jerrys to attack. As both sides adopted safer and more comfortable trenches it created a stalemate,
therefore the Pioneer Battalions made perfect Assault and Raid Troops, being able to destroy the enemy's defences.

All Pioneer Battalions were disbanded at the end of the war.
The 1st Pioneer Battalion fought in the following battles
Battle of the Somme
Battle of Arras- First Battle of Bullecourt, Battle of Lagnicourt, 2nd Battle of Bullecourt
Third Battle of Ypres - Battle of Poelcappelle, First & Second Battle of Passchendaele
Battle of Hazebrouck
Battle of Amiens
Battle of Épehy.

All members in the Battalion are required to attend a Basic Combat Training session in which you will learn basic rifleman commands, formations and tactics. These Trainings will be run by your section leader with supervision of an officer. Once you have completed BCT, soldiers in specialist sections such at the Lewis Section will all be required to Train in pairs with a LMG. To become a gunner, your accuracy and skill will be tested and depending on your results you will be accepted.

The 1st Pioneer Battalion is aiming to get a server for Iron Europe in the near future. As we get this we will start to do more 'Arma' coop type events within the Battalion. These will be roleplay heavy events and will usually not be battles. Often they could be an engineering operation like building a bridge across a river or making a forward trench. An officer will select a couple people to go on the enemy team and simulate enemy artillery or machine-gun fire. These events will not always be limited to engineering and could even be a night time raid against a trench.

1. Always try to act professionally and positively, do not go around team killing other or trying to start arguments. And be kind and helpful to new players to help us keep a good name.
2. Always listen to your senior's instructions, they know what they are doing and don't want people interrupting them.
3. Try to remain active and notify your section leader to tell him why you cant come to the event.
4. Be wary of other peoples opinions and beliefs and try not to offend them.

To join, contact Lt.Paul on steam (see below) and you will be given further instruction. We accept people who will play purely for IE and for NW.

THIS IS STILL W.I.P, ITS JUST MADE SOMEWHAT PRESENTABLE

I'd like to see maps (ones you hold) like how N&S is adding, and maybe an artillery feature where we can call in big guns at a radio. Because lets face it, we aren't going to be seeing many rolling barrages without it.

7
Will engineers be given guns in the mod?

8
You could use the crusader system to 'capture' a flag, but to neutralise it you just need to be near it, when neutralised the flag goes white, and no one can spawn on it until it is captured by holding F. This allows you to get the trench secure before people spawn on it.

9
Will gas be included in this new release?

10
Well I'm quite sure the IE team deserve all the money they can get.
Well, considering how much money NW made FSE...

I'm not sure how much they made, but I heard it was quite low. I think.

Atmospheric. My only criticism really is the cannon rammer thing looks awkward held in one hand, It should be two :).
There are no animations in yet so thats just how they've made you hold it for now. I would like to see them have to ram from the front myself. Currently you must only click on the cannons 4 times to finish ramming.

Also, front page updated.

I once found a trench digging feature in the editor. It was a lump of dirt that you hit with a shovel, and it slowly submerges the earth under the ground. I've never actually seen it used in a map however.

14
Will there be signallers/signal sections included in the mod? And if so, how would they work?

Merry Christmas from Australia
