Wait is that how much a second hand car costs in the US? In the UK you can often get cars for ~1,000 pounds. Generally well used but perfectly serviceable.
1,800 is on the cheap end. in Canada at least.

Anywhere from $1000 ~ $40,000 if we're just talking about a car for an average person.

Also i don't have a car yet but I plan on getting an old Ford pickup truck or something along that line. Cheap, reliable and has history behind it.
nah windflower just tries to act cultured and edgy but hes actually just a 21yo lonely canadian who wastes all his time serving donuts to fat american tourists and trying to date underaged video game girls

I wouldn't necessarily call anything made by Ford reliable. Some of their newer stuff is good, but old Ford trucks scare me more than Fiats and MGs made in the 60s.

What year/make are you looking at?

My parents love Chevy even though they breakdown all the time. I would rather have a ford over a Chevy any day

Like my dad had a brand new Chevy truck. Transmission went on it a year after he bought it. What does he do? Goes out and buys another Chevy truck. Actually I think it was the same model and everything

I wasn't too sure the exact model or year but the F-150 XL (1980s). My grandfather had one of these (i think atleast) and it sort of has a charm over me.

If I had to pick a modern truck, I'd most likely go with a Tacoma. I'm definitely not a fan of big vehicles (hence the Miata lol), but that's one of my favorite trucks.

Smooth AF, would recommend

Also nice not having to drive the pedal into the floor to get up to highway speed in a reasonable amount of time (looking at you late 90's/early 2000's Corolla I took driving lessons in)

Manual?

Holy fuck you serious, of course. Idk how anyone would put money into anything above 5.7L and not get manual. I'd cry.
