Where are NiP's delusional fans now?!
Who was delusional? They played great at Oakland and that demonstrates the form they can reach. You should treat the past few tournaments as an underperformance rather than an average one.

Spoiler
Oakland was a one off performance.

Except they’ve not actually been together as a full lineup for long, Draken and Rez are both young and have huge potential. They’ve already proven they can take titles against the best teams in the world so saying they’re crap isn’t really true at all.

When I see Draken playing, I have the reflection of my AWP plays, hitting unthinkable flicks but missing two players running straight at me

Nearing six months with their current line-up. That's quite a long time in e-sports. Compared to top teams they're quite shit. Nip fans are delusional if they think that NiP can be consistent title contenders

Edit : They're a round of 8 contenders at best within the context of a stacked tournament.

Yes but as I said they have potential to become better. You literally can not deny that they are good enough to steal away titles from the best teams when they won one like two weeks ago.

Consistently no.

Edit : So many variables need to be in place in order for that to happen. Their level is not determined about what "they can be" but what they are, the pattern and standard they've set based on the sample size we have within reasonable context.

Forest had an uncharacteristic awful performance vs SK and Misfits on Ovp, you have to think if he pulls even an average performance on both maps they win at least the Misfits game. They did also beat the 2nd and 4th best teams in the group so probably an upset group

1x NA Duel- Runner up |  2x 3v3- 3rd place (Seadderol Deflatriots) (Ez Money) | 1x Duel League- 4th place | 1x Regimental Groupfighting- 1st place (71st)  l  1x 2v2- 3rd Place (Vortex/Theodin) | TNWL Season 2 - 1st Place l 1x 2v2- 1st Place (Theodin/Elite) l 2x NANWL-
 71st, Nr8(LG) l 1x 4v4- 1st Place (RussianFury, Waste, NickCole, Theodin) l 1x Cav Joust- 2nd Place

BO1 groups cause too much variance and skewed results. This works both ways.

Well, realistically, the only two teams who are going to win titles consistently are SK and FaZe. Any other team is in NiP boat, lots of talent but not good enough to repeatedly defeat the best. You can't say NiP are bad. I mean how many premier titles have Astralis won in the past few months? What about every other team below NiP in the rankings?

NIP winning one title doesn't make them good in the grand scheme of things. Wanna compare line-ups? Alright. Look at Astralis' achievements in the first six months of their current line-up.
Spoiler
. Your definition of good is beating tier two teams. My definition of good is consistently placing top 4 and winning titles in stacked events. NiP is not a good team in that regard. Stop being fucking delusional.

I’m talking about Astralis right now? They haven’t even won a title since Katowice. Why go back all that way when Astralis are a completely different team in terms of form at the minute. NiP haven’t just beaten tier 2 teams, they beat SK and FaZe to win Oakland. NiP have only attended a handful of lans at the minute with two new young and inexperienced players. They have potential and, at their beat, can take on the best teams in the world. When they’re on their game they are a good team.

Stop with Oakland please. Looking at their performance they obviously had an awesome tournament but after that they went back to their standard, which now is being bad, unfortunately.
