Title: Creating own uniforms from scratch

Hello,

I'm learning how to model at the moment. However, that will probably not be the end of it. Could someone provide an oversight of what I have to do to implement my own made uniforms from scratch? Will I also have to attach the self made uniforms to some skeleton or something? How do I go about modeling a uniform for a character in mount & blade? Won't I need some character model as an object in blender to function as a model in order to scale the uniform rightly? What else do I have to do to implement uniforms?
