| The 7 Nation Army will host a Thursday event for the North American commuity. This event will be a tight knit community, consisting only of solid groups that have attendance and discipline. We will only accept regiments that hold a high level of respect in the community and can become a great addition to the battle. The battle will have infantry, artillery, cavalry and light infantry (or rifles depending on the faction). The event will start at 8pm Eastern Standard Time, server information will be made through a discussion in the Steam group regarding roles and information. The event was founded by the 7NA Army after the final Thursday Public event, continuing ideals that Cop first founded in late October for the event. The battle will consist of two maps where the team with the best 2 of 3 will win the map, at the end of the 2nd map a fun round or 3rd custom map may be used pending admin decision. This is to create a quick game-play with short rounds, that way regiments involved will get more playtime with shorter rounds. In other words, less waiting and more fighting. For the minimum/maximum numbers, officers are included; you must be able to provide the minimum to be accepted. - LINE - 1. Shoulder to shoulder lines 2. All large gaps in line must be addressed after reloads. 3. No firing out of line - If you are not in formation, you are not to fire! 4. No crouching in combat / near combat. 5. No rambo'ing, either finish a charge or refer to next rule. 6. Lines consisting of less than 3 players must join another line. | - ARTILLERY - 1. Artillery numbers are limited to 4 minimum and 12 maximum. 2. Artillery can have up to 4 artillery guards. 3. Two cannons max, but they can be any type. (cannon/howitzer) 4. You must charge if told so by the admin. (Incase of a round ending up as arty vs arty) 5. You may have one sapper to build fortifications. You will be given 80 build points. 6. Horsemen should never attack multiple regiments at once unless grouped. 4. when cavalry is reduced to 3 horsemen, they must dismount and find a line to join. 5. Cavalry may have a scout that detaches from their line, and scouts ahead. 6. Dismounted dragoons are light infantry. | - SKIRMISHERS - 1. Skirmishers must be within 5 paces from each other. 2. Skirmishers may not reload while in melee, but they may fire out of line. 3. You must have at least 8 men to fill the role of skirmishers. 4. You may not have more than 13 men playing as skirmishers. 5. Skirmishers may not delay if they are the last alive as a group. |

It seems 7NA means to grow and expand absorbing all those considered valuable in its path. Good :-)In prior events, I've differentiated from light infantry and riflemen because of equipment. However, it's going to be that they're classified as the same unit type with the exact behavior. We can have a discussion to keep these different if anyone wishes, but for now they can stay the same.
Edit: Also does this mean 3eVolt is skirmishers and not light infantry now?
