I heard you are allowing melee clans to sign up to this as well, inb4 FFE back.

tbh we are not sure about this yet. If you got an opinion to this Topic write to one of them on Steam or FSE.

Dont allow it. R in RGL stands for Regiment. Leave it at that.

I think the organizers already know my opinion, but I want to point it out again. I signed up expecting to fight regiments, not groupfighting teams. The fact that they are made out of the best of regiments make them op in my opinion. Also it would fuck the certain teams up because they loose their best members to the clan (Same with the spartans). Also there is no reason to take them in. Allmost every member of a GF team has also a regiment. There is no need to make an op team out of them. I have to admit that i wont be that motivated to attend to this tournament if i have to fight various melee teams with my own guys in there. RGL REGIMENTAL groupfighting league!

Our decision will be announced later today, but considering pretty much everyone i asked said the same, we will most likely not allow it. But since there is only one spot left anyway we shall see if we even need to make this rule.

It is REGIMENTAL league. If u want to allow groupfighting teams just change name of the tournament.

Would be nice to see more referee-applications, because its very hard to organize a league with like 5 referees.

Regiments are not just there for fighting in melee. It doesn't matter what their focus in the game is. Regiments are communities. On the one hand regiments play stuff like linebattles and events, On the other Hand they play other games. Melee clans only meet up to play groupfighting tournament. Don't tell me that you play weekly linebattles with your Argonauts. Melee clans are really not the same as regiments. While melee clans are just pasted together from good peoples to win (cause winning is fun), regiments are something way more complex.

It's not the same comparison. If you wanted to compare Argonauts to something it would be FFE or FG.

Why you want to be a Referee: You said you needed them.
When do you have time: This varies, some weeks I have lots some weeks I don't it just depends (especially around May with exams).

If you don't find anyone else that can guarantee to be active I'm here.

My opinion is that you are all just saying bullshits in this thread. You are probably crying here because a melee clan as you said might win this (and it's not sure). We can say that Argonauts are a part time Regiment can you now reject us? Since 20 guys until now want to play for Argonauts and not their Regiments you can't do anything. If my Colonel and generally the Colonels of all the other guys has problem them speak with their members but if they choose to play with another Melee clan or whatever you like to call them then you can kick ban demote them (including me) or just accept it.
Reject someone because is a melee clan is really stupid and this prove that you can't deal with the defeat.

I agree. You all give up only cuz some ppl wanted to take part in it. And ffs we dont get the best of each Regiment theres always a better guy as u might know.
For me its ok but my Boys really wanted to take part here and u just say no to them without knowing how good we really are.
