Mounted Artillery on Napoleonic Wars mod?
« on: January 24, 2014, 04:55:47 pm »

I was thinking that the horse of the artillery in the Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars that they are too slow. Yes I know that the cannons were very heavy, but, it seems very exaggerated.
Then I thought that you could put two kinds of artillery. One mounted and one on foot.
The mounted horse could had more speed, but less shooting distance. Or something like that.

I don't know, it's only a opinion think about it ^^
PS: Sorry for my English  :S

Impossible. If horses are too fast they will be able to jump.

Then disable the jumb action for them?

Creo que es bueno. Sólo si los caballos son de hecho demasiado rápido, pueden saltar. Pero por lo demás, estaría bien.

No, but I mean that only the Horse artillery was faster, because in my opinion it is very slow
My suggestion it is that if you can pose,  create another type of artillery in one patch, putting the mounted artillery in the game with a faster horse than the foot artillery

As I said, it is impossible. Horses that are too fast are able to jump. And that would look ridiculous.

This would be very cool, but the horse arty would be too OP in line battles. I do like the idea of them being less accurate though.
